We had 34 Vettes on this run from Temecula,Ca to Anza,Ca. We delivered toys to the Anza Fire Station and then had a buffet lunch at Tumbleweed Junction Cafe....
Wife and I hosted this run with Temecula Corvettes...
Meeting in Temecula
Three of us stopped at local indian casino afterwards...
Wife and I had a wet drive home 80 miles from Anza...(and it snowed in Anza last night)

Very cool Rich Glad there was a great turnout for a worthy cause.
When I had my Harley, I participated in many a toy runs for underprivedged kids. ESPECIALLY the coldest & one of the biggest in the country. The Chicago "Toys for Tots" bike run usually held in December. Snow or not....thousands turn out.
Your generosity will be returned to you a-hundred fold...

wow i wish we could do that every christmas, but usually you would freeze your toes off here in NY, but this year, today for example it's 60 degrees here on long island, MIGHT BE A RECORD !!
good drive for a good cause.......thumbs up !!
It was cold...about 35 F..(no heater in the 78,but wife and I bundled up .)The firemen were great...they had a fireplace going and served hot chocolate/coffee..Anza is a small community at 4000 feet elevation..there are only 5 firemen manning station...the fire captain asked me if I would not mind locking station up should they have emergency run while we were there...in fact, that happened last year..they cover fires, highway accidents,etc..
The valley is filled with a history of pioneers and Cahuilla Indians. The town is named after Juan Bautista de Anza.
