lining up leaf spring
Ok Guys,The new calipers went on, rearend cover installed oiled up and no leaks, crossmember fought me back but it finally lined up and seated.
Leaf spring is up and torqued,new shocks on. Who knows the trick to lining up the leaf to t/a mounting holes? Somebody please tell me so I can back that car out of the shop today(ha)Thxs for the help so far, Terry

I just stuck a floor jack under the spring to get it closer to ride height, bolts went in without too much trouble. I didn't think you were supposed to torque the spring bolts down until it is carrying the weight of the car. something about it needing to settle out and a there's a chance of cracking the diff. cover because you're using the bolts to compress the center part of the spring.
