Default Speakerbar

Has anyone ever used the speakerbar for the rear of the storage compartment? The vendors offer them but how do they sound. I will be using the Harrison 100 watt stereo in the original location, but want to add some rear speakers to the system on my 70. Not looking for concert quality since witht the top down I'll be lucky enough to hear it at all. Just wnat some decent sound quality. Any other suggestions?

Never heard the sound from the speakerbar, but I have the undercover speakers which lay flat and you can put them right behind your seats. The have very good stereo sound for $129. here's Item# 42227 from ecklers. They also sell a speaker box w/out speakers for $199 and it comes in many carpet colors. I would buy that & put a good pair of 6x9's in it if you what to spend a little for $$ add an amp & get the best stereo sound.

I bought a speaker bar, but never itnstalled it due to the fact that it covers the light back there. There isn't much interior light as is, so I still have mine in the box on a shelf.

Great point on the light. Maybe I will look at just getting two 6x9's back there

I have the speaker bar installed. The sound quality is poor.
If you want something with decent sound quality, don't
even consider it.
However, I seldom listen to the radio so I'm leaving it in.

It is possible to get "concert quality" sound in small boxes.
