The wife bought me a big box of toys from Doc Rebuild. I got the header and side post interior moldings out to test fit them tonight and noticed that the holes were not drilled for mounting them. I had to replace the top of my WS frame due to rust and the new one does not have the holes drilled in it either. What is the best way to fit the moldings and locate the proper hole locations in the moldings so that I don't mess them up?

Sinse the windshield frames have no holes, it is easier.
Just drill the holes into the moldings , clamp the moldings in situe and drill mark through the molding holes.Only mark, don't drill through. Remove the moldings and now drill htrough the frames. Otherwise you might damage your new modlings when the drill bit breaks or ....
You couldn't get a better fit.
The laserpointer method is perfect if the holes in the windshield frames already exist.
