so yesterday afternoon when i was free i decided to go on a little drive with the vette. it wasn't as long of a trip as some of you take, but for me being 17 it was quite relaxing it was about a 100 mile round-trip. from sarasota to arcadia and back.
i recommend to any of you who have a daily driver to go out and have some fun with it, enjoy your vette!! i know i sure did!

You feel like your eyes are finally open for the first time. We understand that very well...as I too have been driving Vettes since I was 18. Glad to see another good looking Vette being used, and not trailered or butchered.
It's nice to get out for a cruse and clear the head once in-awhile, have fun.
I finally got mine insured, but now it's been raining the last two days. I guess I was correct when I said it'll be after new years before I get to drive her...
I think just about everyone here can relate to getting the car out and driving it with no destination in mind. You did exactly what you're supposed to do with these cars. The last time I did that with mine (just a couple of weeks ago) it was about 70, which is VERY warm for this time of year, so I took the T tops out and hit the road. I even turned the radio off, all I wanted to hear was the singing of the cam, headers and flowmasters.
About 6 years ago I lived in Titusville Florida and had a 76 Stingray. I used to drive it everyday, even to work. Then we moved back to Nebraska and I can only drive my 82 limited times of the year. But when it is nice and I have the time that vette is rolling down the road.
Weatherman on CNN said part of Nebraska have computer models showing up to 6 feet of snow through the weekend . I don't think Mr. Nasty will be doin much cruisin the next few days.
i hate you all... ive gotta wait 4-5 months to drive mine again. of course by that time, im sure 10 more major things will break on it and ill have it up on ramps again until mid-late august. again. for the 3rd year in a row.

Yeah, I'm looking out the window right now watching that s**t fall! I'm glad my son and I got to get it out the day after Christmas for a little jaunt, cause the way it is looking now it might be awhile.
Going on a short cruise is always a good way to lift my spirits.
I keep 2 of my vettes at my work, in a secrured garage. Last night the weather was clear, so I drove my 75 home, and then back to work today. It reminded me of why I bought the cars to begin with. How much fun that was.
wow...i went again today and took my friend with me. here i thought i was the only one crazy enough to take my vette to arcadia, but soon after i got there, a guy and his wife pulled up in a '71 vette. i got to talk to him for a bit. so that made me feel good seein' another one
