Suction pump ??
I've tried 2 of the "drill motor" liquid pumps to empty the rear end fluid from my 72. The stuff is just too thick. Some years back I used to have a big suction style plunger that worked like a reverse grease gun. I may go look for one of those....I haven't seen one lately.
do you have an air compressor? if so, hook a T up to the line, and run the "side" of the T to a big line that you insert into the fill hole, then hook the straioght shot through the T up to a big air gun (or even better an undercoating or sandblasting gun) and aim into a large jerry can and let 'er rip... instant "ported vacuum" suction device.

I just used a clear nylon siphon hose to do one of mine. I think 3/8" line. About 5' of it. Clear so you can see the oil before you get a mouth full. Got it flowing and walked away for a couple of hours with the hose end hanging into a pan. Pretty much got all that was gonna be got.
