That question I'm unsure. However, it was my understanding that it would that it would fit under the stock hood.

The company said the lines were neoprene. For some reason, they didn't recommend stainless steel. What do you recommend changing too?

Definitely, use some steel lines with flared fittings on the pressure side.

$6000 is a lot of money but it looks like a nice engine - the RPM cam should work well with a 10.3:CR (I used to have it in my low comp 350 L48 and it never ran right)
Did they really include the oil and filter as advertized ? From their website: "5 QUARTS OF VALVOLINE OIL AND FILTER"
