I'm sure Jim Shea will chime in here, but I believe he has said that the basic Saginaw T/T column was common across GM, then each Division added their own steering wheel design and hub.

I sent my 82 column to "Steering columns galore" and had it rebuilt. Set me back around $300 shipped, but well worth it. It's like a brand new one now

The 1969 through 1976 C3 T&T columns are the same. I don't think that 1977 and later C3 T&T columns will interchange.

The generic designs of the Saginaw columns are very similar. However, the length of steering shafts, shift tubes, and jackets are different. I doubt very seriously that a Camaro jacket will interchange with a Vette.

I have heard of the upper portion of the column jacket fatiguing and cracking. Probably the result of the four support bolts loosening.

I would look for a 1969 through 1976 T&T column for parts.
