Anyone interested in a Harley/Corvette trade?
Hey gang,
I've decided to sell my chopper. I'll probably just buy another Corvette with the loot so I thought I'd see if anyone here is looking for a bone shaker. All years/condition considered. I can trade up or down. If you're interested, let me know and I'll send you the all the info on the bike.
If you're not, have a Happy New Year!
Best,
Greg

Heck yeah...!!
Funny thing, too, in that I traded a chop I had back in '04 for the Vette I have today, title for title. Main reason I swapped was so's the wife could go more places with me in the Vette. The other fella's wife wanted a chop instead of her Vette. He was a car enthusiast, she was a biker, plain and simple. So we exchanged preferences and we each got what we wanted. Within a few months of owning the vette, however, my wife was in an auto collision which totaled my S10 and somehow spared her life. She's been have'n anxiety attacks every time she gets into a small vehicle ever since. This Vette, being so low to the ground, scares the holy hell out of her. I love this Vette, but I sure miss ride'n bikes. Can never seem to afford both, though.
But yeah, if you're of a mind to swap, I'd gladly offer what I got in trade.
Shoot me a pm and we'll talk more.

Thanks guys,
It was built by a guy in Colorado in 2000. I bought it a couple of years ago and ride almost every day here in Palm Springs. It's always garaged & maintained. It's a Paughco true hardtail chopper frame. Custom stretched & widened Harley tank, '79 iron head engine with the 1200 jugs, high comp. pistons, S&S Super carb, & new(last week)Street Sweeper pipes, kick and electric start, new starter, battery, ignition, forward controls, clutch, etc. All riding on Avon tires.
Fast, lots of fun, sets off car alarms easily, thumbs up at every intersection but definately NOT for the inexperienced rider.
Frank,
I'll shoot you an e-mail and see what we can come up with.
Best,
Greg
