The sidepipes were installed with the baffles that came from Hooker. From what I've been reading about them they are still very restrictive. In the future I'll be installing the JCL spiral baffles (uncapped).

LOL!!! I know right...For the last couple of weeks I've been doing things to it in the garage late at night and you know, when you have to test it you don't look at the clock, ya just start her up and see what's up. Those "neighbors" are also responsible for calling the cops on the 4th of July because I was shooting my spud gun at a bucket I set up across the empty lot. I'll never forget that gun, I even painted it and put cool racing stickers on it. The cop probably gave it to his son or something that night. I got like 10 good patches of rubber right in front of there apt building.

I highly recommend them. They made a huge difference with my 385. I ran the sidepipes with the glasspacks that came with the sidepipes and the JCL baffles made a big difference.

Yeah I was really disappointed when I first fired her up. I thought it was going to be louder. It's not really that I want it louder, but to hear the individual pops of the exhaust note. It sounds restricted right now, so..... those JCLs sound good right? Got any soundbytes or a video?

Check out the hooker max flows. That is what I bought for mine. 2 1/2" straight through. LOUD! and unrestricted.

I put the specs in my profile. I'm still not 100% sure of them though. I have to get in touch with the guy I got the engine from to find out.
