After six long years or maybe not so long the body has been reunited with the frame . With the help of Budman78 and Adam (thanks a ton guys) we put it back on with no surprise or problems, what a relief. I am now more than halfway down that hill on getting it finished, hopefully it won't take six more years!
Anyone need a free body dolly in DFW area let me know.
Very nice, the only way to do it! What are the red straps for? Looks like they are attached at the front headlight area? Did you lift from there also?
great Job!

Not for lifting ... only to support the front end and keep from drooping/cracking.
Looks great !! I'm coming up on 6 years soon ... body on, but not painted yet.
Funny, after taking my body off the dolly, my wife and her friend were sitting
in it like the Flintstones. I took and old Mustang steering column out of the
garage and had her hold it in place for a picture (which I lost).
Thanks, what I really wanted to do with the dolly was to have a nice fire in the driveway. The straps as NHV said were just a precaution to help support the nose. We had someone hold the nose for most of the trip back on, there have been more than one or two stories here where the nose cracked off on removal.
I have a lot more incentive now that I can actually see a whole car, this was a rough road on this car, it was really beat up in places and most were hidden. Nothing like NH but still rough but most of that is now behind me.
Cold, Sorry but another forum member has claimed it. If something happens I will give you a heads up.
Car Kid, you should really use something to support the body when you take it off, I suppose you could devise something else but the dolly makes it ez to move around and gives it support.
