would you advice me to go from my color scheme into this one, with a large centerd stripe all along the car? color: blue, red or silver (all matte though)?

A matte blue would look very good on a Vette I think...but I am very partial to that flat black.

totally, very tough & understated look. Needs a big bada$$ed 427cu in. to back it up. My 350 wouldn't be able to offer the same "fear factor."

1. You guys are nuts, Paris is still smoking hot.
2. I can't believe it took so long to get the "Leaf blower" joke. That was great!
3. While we are posting pics of our old cars, this appeared in Corvette Fever and a guy called me and bought it over the phone...

They didn't.

The car was converted when it was brought here from Canada. It's called a "Mirror" conversion.

When done properly (as this car has been) the whole engine and everything is moved from one side to the other.

Just getting started;
I'm going oil pan to air cleaner - the whole engine compartment - then paint and interior. This thread has given me quite a high bar to measure up to.

It's not a crate motor...I picked it up from the machine shop, had a lot of work done. It is the original motor (block/heads/crank/dimple rods), with about 20k mileage on it . Used hilo to load in/out of my truck. Valve covers are powder coated, straps not leaving any marks.
