Previous owner statrted here 12 years ago...took 4 years...and installed a 454..









Today...502 went in in 1999...

Purchased new in 1980 drove it un till 1992 then I let her sit for a while in the driveway. Started the frame off in 2005 and I'm slowly getting there. The body went back on the frame last week.










I sleep in the tent when I work on it because I don't want to wake people up at 2-3am walking in the house.

I pulled the body off my 71 2 weeks ago. This is the result of this weeks work. The frame was in absolutely beautiful condition, unlike my windshield posts. All but the 2 rear mounts came out without a problem. The rears I had to cut because they were spinning in the cage.

This is the inside where the rear trailing arms connect.






I've already touched up the areas that I missed because of the angle of the spray.


Oops, my knee must of hit that...


Next up, the front suspension.
