sorry, maybe i did not explain myself properly, black denim is a 'matt' black...like this one below which for example is used on harleys...

http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/C...r&locale=es_ES

click on VRSC 'night road special'...you'll see what i mean.

That's my future paint job, "Denim" or John Deere Blitz Black. I like the look of the "Denim" a lot. I'd be real interested in seeing a Photoshop, too. Gonna be a long time for me 'till I do paint. It's about last on my list...

to make a proper matt color, and i guess specially black, there is the same amount of work you need for a good brilliant color, only changes the last hand of surface transparent...i have my tvr painted matt light grey and it looks the business (it gives it an alu appearance...), i thought matt black with two stripes of 'vivid' black all across would look pretty good, specially with black centre/polished rims wheels and blk interior, plus everything totally dechromed

This is a duPont product, follow this link:
Hot Hues™ Hot Rod Black HHM-6400™ http://pc.dupont.com/Phantom/content/hh-short.html

Hot Rod Black is a 2K single stage matte topcoat with excellent satin gloss and color retention. Designed to achieve the required build and appearance in two coats, it provides outstanding chemical resistance, smooth appearance and may be air dried, or force dried by infrared or low bake.

Hot Activators and Reducers can be used with Hot Rod Black to achieve the ideal results based on shop requirements. For stripes or completes, Hot Rod Black is an ideal choice. It will not chalk or fade, so you can do it once, do it right - and go cruising.

* This product is not VOC compliant for some southern California markets. *

Hot Hues™ Hot Rod Black HHM-6400™ Application Guide
Hope it helps,,,,Peace,,, Moosie
