It was a very nice paint job until he did this:

Wow. I hadn't seen the two-tone job. It looked way better solid silver.

That guy posted here a while back when he was doing the frame...

Here I am saving up for 5-speed conversion in an old clunker---- That's how the other half live! Not my taste in finish, but nice underneath!

I meant stupid because he's claiming to have nearly 1/4 million dolars in it. That's pretty dumb to allocate that much money into a car. No car is worth that. I don't care who you are. Especially if you actually want to drive it.

That guy is in Switzerland, the car has been in the mags here. 1/4 million dollar, that's a whole lot but the parts here are over twice as expensive as over there so ...and when converting wages...well.. you get the idea. Same way a brand new Z06 costs over 170K here.

Still, I don't see where the 1/4 million went unless he had everything done, that'll run up the bills for sure.

The two tone flames must have been the original paint before his restoration. The pic with the flames has four side louvers whereas his finished car in silver only has three. Amazing car, beautiful, but not how I would have spent my money unless I wanted a show car.
Regardless....beautiful work.
