Default Frame Sandblasted-Interesting Discovery

Well I've been pretty busy since the end of the holidays and I've managed to finish stripping the chassis and I've just sandblasted the frame today. Tommorrow she gets primer and a coat of black paint! While sandblasting I found a few interesting stamps on the frame-maybe one of you guys have an idea of what they mean.

First picture is just a shot of the entire frame ready for painting:

Second and third pictures are of a few stamps that were found in several locations throughout the frame:

The last pic is of a stamp found towards the rear of the driver side frame rail-in the area of the gas tank if it were mounted. It is a series of numbers-9S726175.

I'm not positive but I think the one at the driver's side rear is the last 8 digits of your VIN#. If it's the original frame then it should match the VIN# on the driver's side windshield post. I have no ideas for the first two pics. Nice job on the blastings, looks great. Post pics of it after it's painted.

The other numbers , I think are inspection stamps. Not 100% sure on that.

I saw those on mine right before I slopped POR15 over them There were chalk markings in the rear compartment, on the firewall, and behind the storage compartments before I washed them off with degreaser. I'm going to spray over them with lizard skin tommorow just to verify my car isn't worth anything.

Good job on the frame......what's the plan?

Thanks for the breakdown on the VIN#, As far as plans on the chassis-Leaving most of it stock with exception to swaybars. Everything Is going to be rebuilt or replaced. The majority of the chassis will be black-a few key components are going to be silver. This car is not original, so for the motor I will be building a small block 404.

You should have another one like this about the spot where your left hand would rest if you were sitting in the driver's seat.
