Default HELP Identify 69 427 CE block

I was looking at a 69 427 tripower with a CE165433. The car has no history, tank sticker, or any other docs available. Is there any way to identify the CE #, or if it is a true tripower car? How does this affect the value of this car? Thanks, Terry 708-845-1441

I had a CE engine in my 67 when I bought it. I've been told that this is a over the counter engine or a Chevrolet replacement for warranty work. As stated above check tach redline and fuel line size. If your looking for a car that will pass NCRS judging the CE block won't do it.
Good luck
