Default No heat - where do I start first?

I have no heat with the control set to heater. The fan blows but the air never warms. I smell no radiator fluid in the car. Is there blockage somewhere or maybe a valve closed?

Sounds like the heater control valve. With the engine up to operating temp feel the hose going into the valve and see if it is hot on both sides of the valve also feel the hose coming out of the heater core and see if it is hot or cold. Also make sure you are getting vacumn up to your control valve. If you have warm hose in and out of your core it may be the door in side that I believe is cable operated not opening up from the heater core.

If you have A/C, there is a vacuum operated water valve in the heater hose about 1/2 way between the engine and heater inlet at firewall. Maybe stuck closed or the vacuum hose came off.

Good point. Not really a problem - more of a pet peeve because I know the car well and I don't know whats up with my heat. It is going to be in the 30's next week.
