TNBusa installed his engine today!
hi everyone! I don't post here in C3 much, but I am Mike's (TNBusa) better half.
He has been working on his 70 coupe for a couple of years.....and he finally got the engine installed today! I started a thread in off topic, but got reprimanded for not posting it here!
Anyway, here's the link so I don't have to type and post all the pics all over again.

We had a custom hood made that is 4" over standard height for the L88 hood, but they were a little worried about it yesterday. He said he might have to have a custom breather made.

Looks fantastic. The only thing is with all that power I would have installed a blow sheild. If that clutch ever lets go.....
Keep the pictures coming
It will be a very nice machine indeed, but a bulletproof bellhousing is something i would truly go back and look at. I considered it mandatory when I did my 500 ci BB with a kiesler. With 700+ HP a person can not understand or respect the explosive force of a clutch until it happens. The results can be disasterous/life threatening if not contained.
Hey Durango, its just a 1050 dominater that I sent to pro-systems to make it more streetable for my combo. It now flows 1120 cfm and is supposed to be able to maintain cruise without loading up. I hope to find out in a few weeks.

Off topic but....do you have a Hayabusa? hence the TN-Busa or am I just stupid and missing something?
I could swear there is a guy on some of my hayabusa forums that goes by TNBUSA.
Just curious if you're the same guy. LOL
I had a 2000 blue/silver with a MCxpress kit. The Motorhead up in Cleveland installed the kit for me. It made 305 rwhp .....man do I miss that thing. Sold it a couple years ago when the vette project started getting out of hand. I used to post on suzukihayabusa.org and lurked on labusa. Do you still have a busa?
