horn question?
Hey guys just a simple question. I changed the steering wheel today and when i when to put it back together and tested everything out I realized that the horn was not working. Im pretty sure I put everything back together properly and I even double checked it and the steering emblem seems to have the proper movement. I cant remember if the engine needs to be running for the horn to work. Shouldn't it run off the battery? I havent tried starting the car to test it out because there is some work at the moment being done on the headlights and I didnt want them to flip down.

Horn works all the time regardless of whether the car is running or not. You might check the spring loaded horn contact. If you put it in upside down it won't make contact with the button unit.
