Wanted to share this recent experience I had with Eckler's customer service. I've always received prompt service when ordering a part from Ecklers and their ground shipping usually arrives within 3 - 4 days. A recent order took 10 days because for some reason FEDEX subcontracted the delivery to the USPS. When I complained about the delayed shipping to Eckler's customer service via email, they replied within the same day and offered to credit my shipping charges. Now that's customer service and precisely why I keep going back to them.
The last two times I dealt with them, they screwed me over and tried to make it look like my fault. That is after they had my business exclusively 6 years prior to that. Maybe they though I couldn't find another corvette parts dealer.

They're full of it! They totally ripped me off in shipping charges last week. I ordered an oil pan and 2 front bumper extension brackets. The oil pan arrived in 2 days as expected. The small box was also RE-ROUTED THROUGH USPS and took 9 freaking days from North FL to middle GA. WTF!!!! WHY NOT STICK BOTH PARTS IN THE SAME DAMN BOX! I COULD HAVE PACKED A FRIGGIN FOOTBALL IN THE FIRST BOX THERE WAS SO MUCH ROOM IN THERE!
I don't care if they are they only company in the world that has my part, I'll never buy from them again. I'll build it myself if I have to.
Ecklers-- I don't use them for 2 reasons. First, I'm in Florida so they kindly add 7% sales tax to my purchase. Second, shipping is high and could never beat Volunteer vette--which is free if you use online. If correctness is important, Paragon in Michigan has the most expertise. For Suspension or Brake anything use VBP and VanSteel first. I have had favorable dealings with The Last Detail in Atlanta and although Dr. Rebuild is hit and miss (minumum orders, $ shipping, what you get may not be what you ordered, repro, not correct, etc etc) they are helpful as a very last resort.
Ecklers is in my book. Any complaints I've ever had (really only a couple minor quibbles) they took care of promptly to my satisfaction. I buy from them regularly. I agree their shipping charges are up there, but so is Mid America. Funny I never hear of anybody ordering from Year One.

Since they're in Florida also, i get shipments next day if I order before 12, and I only pay for ground shipping. No problems dealing with them, plus they give me a 20% dealer discount.
Well I have had both good and bad with them.
1st time I ordered from them was a nightmare, but they did give me 10%off my next order for that and the next order was great.
Last thing I ordered from them was for the other car and it broke after a week, sent them an email, got no response, bout 10 days later package shows up at my door with the replacment.
Even though the original order was to my US address they shipped the replacement to me in Canada at no charge.
