with all the delima with my setup i think it's finally coming together..... i installed a stock short wp (non-vette) and thing tend to line up..... i managed to work the alt brackets/ps brackets/ps pump/alt to all fit nicely...... now, i have to call the cog drive guy and get a smaller belt to make it all happen.... i hope it's possible..... here's some pics.... and i need to cut the alt tension bar about 2.5 " then rethread the end..... cut the standard end and not the reverse end for sake of finding a tap
I'm just glad you didn't have any problems. You sure better order a spare belt once you figure out the desired length. I'd hate to have a drive system that any local Oreilly couldn't provide a belt for.
i plan on ordering 2 extras and stuffing them under the dash ......
plus my paint is chipping off my v-covers....wtf..... so i'll get new ones and have them painted car color... i want to get the vette running this weekend if possible
