Mystery Cable?
On my manual '70, there is a cable that currently looks like its doing nothing. Both ends are attached to the underside of the floor, then the cable loops around and passes through a plate on the rear frame crossmember, right near where the E-brake cable Y-union is. I'd say the cable is about a foot in total length, with the two end connectors that are bolted to the floor.
I know this is a rough explaination, but I'm trying to figure out if I can remove this. I dont have a pic, and this thing is getting in the way of my new exhaust.
Anyone know what I'm talking about, and what its purpose is? I cant seem to find it in my manuals.
