I am rebuilding the left rear caliper on my 75. Its leaking from the seals located on the outer part of the caliper. That is between the rotor and the wheel, as opposed to the inner, or the rotor and the shock.
Anyway, as I began my research, and search on CF, I found some postings that suggested to leave the springs out after the rebuild. Why would that work? If the original design had the springs in the pistons, why would they suggest to leave the springs out, and only insert the pistons after the rebuild.
