Default strange happening while driving yesterday

I took my 68 BB out for a nice drive yesterday and stopped for gas. After gassing it up I climbed back into the car and closed the door. Something fell from underneath the dash. I picked it up off the floor. To my astonishment it was an old yellowed rolled joint (marijuana cigarette). I have only had the car for a year and have never indulged in the use of it but thought it certainly was "period correct" for a 68 Corvette. I assume the previous owner may have tucked in in there years ago and forgot it. I threw it out the door and had a chuckle. The interior is original and unrestored. Didn't excpect that

Better to hide it up under the dash than under the seat when pulled over.

You guys lucked out down there ... just rain yesterday to clean the roads off more.
We (further north) are well into mega salt and white roads ('bout time).

Happy driving

same thing happen to me this pass summer. I was installing new carpet and when I pulled out the old carpet, there was a joint underneath. Brought in the house to show the wife and kids. What a laugh.

You should have kept it for authenticity. It may have been dropped by a factory worker that installed the dash originally.

So that was the problem with the quality of '68 models.

We've been lucky this winter. The sanders haven't been out once. My grass is still green. The other kind of grass that is

I have a 93 Chevy half ton truck that I use as a daily driver. One day my kids and I where going to Six Flags and the truck was packed. The center console was loose and accidentally finally knocked off the mountings and 3 unused condoms in wrappers appeared on the floor from the PO. My kids had a field day with that and told me that they where going to tell mom what they found in my truck.

The finally thought it was better not to say anything when they discovered it was funner to blow them up and waive them at passing cars

Should have just stuffed it under the dash again as an authentic factory option.

I bought a used Tempo right after college. While cleaning out the trunk 6 months later I found a small bong (about 8 inched long) under the carpet.
