yeah ill be stationed in Kaneohe bay. The marine corp is shipping it there for me for free. I hav huge plans for my vett. When I get there if you don't mind telling me which shops I can trust ect... I'd appretiate it. Heck is there a vett club in hawaii? if not maybe we can start one... just thoughts...

The only thing I am doing to my vett befor hawaii is put c5 zo6 rims on her, and put on all new suspension. I still have the original 350 in her with 78000 miles, and I am wanting to put a ls7 in it. I know its possible but I just got into cars when I bought my dream car. So I have alot to learn...lol

and also have some spare parts that
you may be interested in. PM me when
you get here.

There are a couple of vette clubs here, But none I would want to join, I've met a couple of guys from one of them at a local cruise night and to me they seem not interested in C3's.. most of them drove c4's or c5's.. Would be cool to get together for a cruise, Hey Darren...you in??

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I'm an Accountant, and we just started busy season. I'll be here for about three years, so let me know when you get here. I'd love to check yours out.

Charles,

From my experiences, I've had great service with Chuck's Corvette Clinic and with Paul Yamamoto at Auto Pro. Chuck has been working with me on all my exterior and interior work and Paul just replaced my worn out l48 motor with a new 350/410 crate. Excellent work from both of them.

I think there are a cpl of clubs on the island.

Not to hijack this thread, but it's coming along great, got front and rear suspension rebuilt, new exhaust, new top, I got the complete interior ready to go in after paint, almost have it completely stripped then going to take it to my painter and start the process, hopefully it will be done by march..Just got a new camera, I will post some progress pics when I get a chance.

This would be great.. I know of a couple other guys with C3's that would probably go along for a cruise.. let's all plan on it..
