Sanblast Rotors?

I am finally on the rebuild side of my frame off and have been sandblasting all of the brackets, trailing arms etc in a cabinet blaster - I also sent the frame out and am glad I did but I must say using the cabinet is a lot of fun as it works quite well and you see instant results.
The rotors have rusted over the years of setting - not that bad just surface stuff and they are fairly new so there is no need to replace them but they have to be cleaned up. I am doing the bearing assembly housing/brake back plate with wire brush as I don't want to have any crap get into the bearings - Van Steel recently had rebuilt them but they are not looking good enough to put back on my great looking frame!
Anyway - any reason not to put the rotors in the cabinet and blast away? Sure would make the job wasier and much quicker.
Thanks
Steve
