Default Block number, which engine?

10066086
Number was on the top back of the block where the motor and tranny bolt together. When I bought it I was told it was a crate 350, just trying to get more info. Could not find the other numbers, cold outside.
Thank you.

May want to check that number again ... the following information comes from the MorTec site: http://www.mortec.com/castnum.htm

10066036 ... 350 ... 2 or 4 ... Target Master/Goodwrench crate motor, 2-piece rear seal, "Hecho en Mexico"

I have that same number in mine 10066086. It is defiantly an 8 and not a 3.

I was told this was a crate 350... but that is all I have. It has center bold valve covers... so I am assuming it is 1985 or newer... no clue if it is a vortec or how to tell.

thoughts?
