Default Pace Car Keys

I Have A 78 Pace Car And Need A Spare Set Of Keys Made.
Went To Three Dealers Today, No One Has Blanks For That Car.
Any Ideas?
If I Get The Blanks, Any Lock Smith Can Cut Them For Me.

If you are looking for something a little different, I found some key blanks a few years ago with the 78 anniversary logo on them from Yahoo auctions. I will look at them tonight to find the company name.

If you need NOS blanks that will pass NCRS, Jesser's Classic Keys claims he can do it. He has an ad in most all the Vette mags.

If all you need is a spare key, any Locksmith can cut one. It is a very common blank.

I think Jesser's is a rip! I wnet to a local locksmith who had them and told me they still are available; the originals with GM logo. He charged me $2 cut. I see these on ebay from time to time for $10 or better uncut. Another thing to watch out for is the sevice to retumble the spare tier lock to match as it should. Ecklers gets around $50. Agina I went to the local locksmith and he retumbled it for about $6.

i have a 78 pace car and had an "original" set of key cut from original GM blanks by a local locksmith for under $5 for the pair. they are available, don't get sucked into somethiing stupid. BTW i see original blanks on ebay most of the time for less than $4.00 if you get "desperate".
