It appears to be the emergency break light. I goes out when I release the break handle. It's hanging down by my right foot. Where does it mount?
Thanks
Hi Glenn,
That bulb should plug into the middle center of the tachometer directly above the needle. Look close and you'll see the lens that reads BRAKE.
Good luck,
Greg

Thanks guys. Do I need to drop the instrument cluster or will I be able to squeeze my hand up there. Also, the center bulb at the 60 mph mark is out. Same spec bulb as the emergency break?
not to sound like a smart *** but there is bulb data / fuse data on don olsons color coded wiring diagrams, don 's has a 67 and is on the c-2 section but he hangs out here a lot,and is the next town from me --------------------------------------
Yes, it is the same type bulb. All the dash illumination, gauge illumination, and warning lights use that bulb, with very few exceptions. (radio, HVAC control, ashtray all use a different bulb)
77/350- Yes its up in back of the instrument cluster. I do not think you'd be able to snake your hand up there to just put it back. Be careful disconnecting the cluster cover mounting screws at the base. The plastic tabs break pretty easy and super glue doesnt hold it if you do. chuck
Its a GE 1895 bulb, as are all of the bulbs in the tach/speedo. You can get it in from the bottom but its tight. You will have to remove the air duct. The "brake" light hole in the speedo is right under where the speedo cable comes in so its kind of recessed in there. its the blue wire. As for getting the 60 mph bulb changed, it would be tough to get without removing the upper dash pad or dropping the cluster down. Both of which is a PITA.
