Default '69 owners-Do I have your engine?

I have a '69 Corvette 350/350 engine in a car, dated 11-69. Block 3970010.

If you are looking for the original engine to your car, PM me the VIN.

So you found yourself that 69 you were looking for?

No, it's in another car. But I may have found another motor for that one, so it occurred to me that someone with an NOM '69 just might be looking for their original and I might have it. I'll probably post it in the Driveline and see if any NCRS people are looking.

A couple crash and burns on my own '69 purchase. Harder than I thought, but I'm being particular. It will come along.

Default 11-69..... 70 Vette motor?

Would a 350 vette motor dated 11-69 be a November 69 motor and probably for a 1970 Vette?

Hi Joe
1969 Corvettes were produced into Dec '69, accounting for the fact there were over twice as many '69s as there were '70s. '70s were produced starting Jan, 1970. Fair question, though.

I'd prefer not to advertise the VIN at this time. (I think I spend too much time with the criminal element!) If someone is looking for a specific '69 motor from that time frame it's just as easy that they check with me.

Probably not for a '70. '69 production ran long. Corvette engines dated November 69 probably went into 1969 Corvettes.

St. Louis closed December 19th, 1969 after the last '69 was assembled and did not reopen until January 1970. There may have been a few unused 1969 dated engines in the plant, but there would not have been any leftovers as old as November. '70 production did not ramp up until January, 1970 and the cars were not availabe to the public until February.

It's not mine, my '69 was OVER a year old when that block was dated!!!

Mine was the 35th for the model year built in August of '68.

That being the case, you need to sell me the car for a ridiculously low price. Email for shipping arrangements.
