I fell of the chair laughing when i saw the exhaust on it.
I've heard of shorty headers, but shorty exhaust!!!

I've tried everything on my former hooker side pipes, from stock to full open to various length and a short open race muffler (with end reverse cone) like the one on these pics is the best one, by far

Also, sound levels in many areas do not allow these, as they are very loud normally.
I kind of like the car, although not what I would want.
What I don't like is this line from his auction:
In 1975, 33,836 Corvette T-Top coupes were originally built, with a good rule of thumb of only 10% surviving, makes this a highly collectible vehicle.
I don't know where he gets that idea, Corvettes may be one of the best surviving rate cars in the world, simply because most people think they are collectible.
The sea mural Corvette is not my choice, either, but it looks like a lot of hard work went into it and a good job was done. Not like Bubba did it in his backyard with Krylon.
He is paying the price of having a custom - what you like may not be what another person likes.
I think this place is becoming more NCRS than NCRS. It is ok if you modify your Corvette, but not the other guy.
The buyer will make it to his/her own liking.
I go on ebay a lot looking for parts and periodiclly trowl for a prodject to keep me busy. There are a lot of good cheep prodject cars right now fromthe 74 to 79 range some $2000 to $4000 buy it nows.
It's fun to look, and sometimes fun to goof. Anyting to kill the winter time blues.

My main turnoff was the red inserts on the tan/buckskin seats. It just didnt go with the flow of the rest of the car.
Thursday night 2/1/07 bid price was at $5,100.
How can the buy it now price be at $55,000. Thats just ridiculous.

And how can you not like a red vette with a supercharger? They will both sell on the low side (or not at all) so buy 'em, enjoy 'em, and if somebody else doesn't like it F 'em!
Yes, it's called the 68 to 74 group. AND their sister group the 76 to 82 group...THEY'RE ALL OUT TO GET MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Seriously though, somebody did spend a lot of time on the Manta Ray "mural." Perhaps the owners ex-girlfriend was a bit of a...Free spirit in college and took her fine art degree to extremes. Neat painting but aestetically it doesn't match the car or the movement of its fenders & scoops of this C3. Might work better on a 1976 Dodge van "Good Times Machine."

I'm surprised the underwater vette got 52000 miles on it... thats about 51900 miles more than i'd put on it without another paintjob.
