I've got a picture of one of these mods (finished) on my computer but I am at work and net nanny won't let me upload through our server. When I get home I'll post it. I kinda like it if I owned a coupe.

It was half way interesting until I saw the taillights. I'll pass. Rearend is probably worth someting to the Mopar Hemi-car cloners.

I like it, the taillights have to go. But for the buy-it-now price that would be a great project car. I wish I had the $$ and garage space oh and I wife that liked my toys. Maybe I could roll it in at night went the wife is sleeping...........

I saw this same SWC treatment on a C3 20 years ago. Workmanship wasn't as good as this appears to be and the body was in a salvage yard.

it could b pretty sweet with a finished product but i think hes asking a TON for that, i paied 4200 for my 74 and the only think wrong with it was a cracked bumper cover, and the door panels were in slighly bad shape, id say abotu 2K TOPS

I agree. I think the sides need to taper in a bit towards the center, following the rear window somewhat, and something totally different on the light panel.

Six round tail lights inset into the edge.

You're right about the taper. It looks ackwardly wide across the very tail edge.

I was driving in Denver in the late '70s and saw just the opposite of this. It was a C-2 front grafted to a C-3 Coupe rear. Must have been the same guy......

I think it would work. I agree about the taillights, but if you converted the front end to a flip up c2 style also, I think it would work out.

If they can put a C1 body style on a C5.... then why not put a C2 body style on a C3.

C2s are going for crazy money these days, if you can find one. Then the next best thing would be to make your own.

Looks like something proteam would do... take two halfs of a car and sell them as a whole.

Now, I like that - maybe the standard C3 tail lights do it?
