Default floor pans 76 coupe

I am replacing the floor pans in my 76 with aftermarket pans. Can someone tell me what the distance should be between the support for the front seat rail and the crossmember where the exhaust passes through. Any measurements to get it at the correct angle would help.

Just went down to look at mine and the front of the seat support under the car looks like it's maybe a quarter inch back from the back side of the crossmember. Make any sense?

That helps. Is there any way to determine the "pitch" or slope of the pans from front to rear? Right now I have them set as level from side to side with a slight pitch from front to rear with the rear of the pans slightly lower than the front.

Thanks again. I plan on tackwelding them in tomorrow. Six 2 inch welds per pan and then steel pop rivet around the rest of the perimiter.

Good luck man. Let me know if you have any other questions. I bought mine new so I've spent just a little bit of time with a '76.....
