Any recommendations for a home use automotive scan tool for checking/resetting engine fault codes? I had an Autoxray that worked good, but is no longer compatible with OBD2 systems.
I have a high-end OTC scanner as well as an AutoXray 6000. I tend to use the 6000 more because it's very compact and as long as you don't ask too much from it (and can live with the slow speed), then it's a pretty good tool for the home.
Honestly, there is so much out there that it's hard to make a solid recommendation since no one but you knows how you're going to use it. Kind of like asking what color pants you should buy. Plad works fine in most situations.
