Replacement power window motor
I am in need of a new power window motor for a 71. Corvette Central lists a new motor for $89.95 #283038(new). This is ~$30.00 cheaper than some others are charging for rebuilt. Are any of you familiar with this motor? Any recommendations on other sources of window motors.
Not familiar with the ones from CC, but I just installed one that I bought from Advanced Auto and it was only $59.00 and it works great, AutoZone also carries it for $59 or $60 too.

Thanks guys for the info. I bought one from Autozone for ~ $59.00
as was in Tewski's reply. Will pick it up this afternoon. I read that some of the ones from the 80's have a different plug style but can be used with a adapter that some suppliers have or by using spade connectors.
Early plug config _ l Newer config l l
I will remember to check the parts houses first in the future before assuming that I have to go to one of the Corvette suppliers.
Tewski, bought it at the Autozone on North Wickham!!!
Your right about checking local dicked with my front rotors for 2 nights looked at rebuilding them ,made one call to advanced lifetime Re-placement Warranty (Delco) took my old one with me ,just wished I would have used the shims to keep the brakes quite they stop great but have a small squeal.
