Power Tour 2007
I plan on going on this great trek across the Midwest and was wondering if i would see any of you guys along the way. If you have gone in the past feel free to post pictures and write about your experiences!
For 2007 the Power Tour begins in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, June 2, runs through Kalamazoo, MI; Racine, WI; Springfield, IL; Evansville, IN; Memphis, TN and ends up in Little Rock, AR on June 8.
This corvette was one of many that went last year!

I can dream..... The last one ended at Raceway Park (Englishtown, NJ) not too far from my home and I signed up and had big plans to join the tour in Virginia.... then Pennsylvania..... but ended up just bactracking a few miles and watching them go by here in New Jersey. Then instead of going on to Raceway Park I bailed and went home. Maybe if I fix my wipers I will go out to Cleveland and do the whole thing.

Somebdy post a route and ETA's so that we can plan to at least watch you all pass , maybe we can meet up when you stop for lunch or something , I would love to get the opportunity to meet a few forum members.

I've been twice, '03 in the Vette and '06 in my V8 S15 Jimmy. Its an awesome experience but not something I want to do every year. This year I want to do some other events. Perhaps the CARCRAFT Nationals in Minnesota and maybe HOTROD's Drag Week.

...I plan on being up in Cleveland at the I-X Center for the departure and festivities. May run up to Michigan and head back before hitting the Michigan border/potholes.

I dont plan on going on the whole thing, but plan to go up to Ohio before and hit Ceder Point theme park then travel to michigan and cut back down to central Illinois. Hope to see yall there!!

Hot Rod Power Tour
The only advantage about signing up is the free food at the stops and the goodies etc. As far as running with the boys, look up where they start and leave from each day on the site that was given above, and wait outside that venue and jump into the VERY long lines. A lot of guys do that for one or two stops only.
It's a lot of fun unless the weather turns bad like it did on the second half of HRPT '04. Rain and lots more rain every day. The biggest surprise was all the people lined up IN THE RAIN in small towns as we drove thru just to wave at us. Wow, what an experienc As most already know I did the entire "Long Haul" in '04 and by the time I got my vette home it had 4,680+ extra miles on it and it took a month to reclean everything on it. When the weather is dry, man is it great.

Hey-that's us in the second picture- The 65. I think that was in Cecil, GA at the race track.
