Steering Wheel
I have a 75 vette but the steering wheel is the 76 style(the Vega wheel). I don't really like it but I was wondering if any 75's came with that wheel or if it's a bubba. What I really want to do is replace the wheel but I don't know if a 75 wheel will fit on it. I know I would need the housing below the wheel(the 76 wheel has it attached) but I would like to know if I would need to do any other mods or do I have to replace the whole column. Other than the wheel the column is perfect so I really don't want to do it because as you all know, once I start with that then.................Thanks in advance.

If you find a wheel it's easy to change so long as it came from a similar column. The '76 wheel you have was not an option for '75 that I know of.

)Perhaps your '75 had a fixed column and someone changed it out for a T/T column from a '76?
If you don't mind the simple work of changing it back out, you might find someone willing to make a direct swap for a fixed column. I don't know how much the T/T means to you.
I changed mine out for a trams am style flat wheel, but it took some fabricating.
If you'll do a search, you'll find a overwhelming amount of threads on changing the wheel out.
