Default Cover over MSD?

I can't make up my mind whether or not to cover my MSD or look at it. I like the looks both ways. Would that much metal grounding create any problems for the high output of the MSD? Or say screw it and sell the cover? Opinions?

The cover would not affect the performance one way or the other.

I'd say leave it off. You can see from miles away that the engine isn't stock, so why be ashamed of the performance goodies you have on there....

Can I ask you where you got the cover for the master brake cylinder, haven't seen that one before.

I've always liked the look of the ignition sheilding. It's one of those things that sets a Vette engine apart from everything else. If it's in good shape, I'd leave it on.

I got rid of the sheilding long ago. Just one more thing to get in the way when working on it. If it is a stock motor and your into tha tleave it on. You have modified it so leave it off.

Default Thanks Guys...

for all your opinions. Good point....why take a 'hotrod' motor and stick something stock on it?!? It's staying OFF.

Candy Red 77; Got it from my Brother, came off his '34 Ford Roadster, 'Vette M/C under the floorboard, drilled and tapped for remote reservoirs. He changed out to all Wilwood. I can ask him but it was on there when he bought the rod so......?
