Deciphering Numbers
Say I need a specific bolt. I have the part number for the bolt (which I retrieved from the assembly manual), but is there a way of finding out what the specifications of the bolt are (ie length, pitch, threads per inch etc.)? Is there a coding system for the hardware on Corvettes? Are there any decoders on the internet which decode the part number and tell you what type of bolt it is?
