silly storie

i just recieved all the parts i need to complete my interior. i had to search for an impossible to find 5 cent part to finish the glove box, and have been putting this off for almost a yr. glove box has been broken since i got the car 5 yrs ago. this is gonna be sweet!

Five cents - new or used? Give us a description and/or pic. Never heard of a Vette part that cheap! Regardless, congrats on getting the interior completed.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from one of the "regular" vendors. One item was back-ordered. They eventually shipped it UPS Ground (for $7.95) in a large box filled with peanuts & bubble wrap. The part? A 1/8" thick x 1/2" x 2" long rubber strip that pads the wiper stop on the windshield. About the size of a small stick of gum. Coulda mailed it in an envelope for .39 cent.

oh yea! that clause is what started all this. i was only gonna change my heater core and it turned into a whole interior /color swap

the latch that the glove box lock grabs onto when you shut it. it only cost me 2 bucks to ship from NY. the 5 cent remark will make more sense when you see one. a member was nice enough to send me one, and until he did, my only other option was to buy a whole used dash for 500$ it is an impossible part to come by just by itself.
