Installing new seats

Purchased a new set of set covers installed on new foam from Wilcox. The new leather and foam look great however, I can't for the life of me figure out how to install them on the buckets (81'). The buckets and bottoms have four little clips and the new seat is supposed to get snap under these clips. I assume there is a tool made to do this. With the new foam, it is nearly impossible to push down, pull, push..... without being able to see it.

Anyone been through this and have some advice.

PLEASE believe me take your seats some where to have them done. your life will be a whole lot easier.

The seats are already mounted to the foam. After messing around, a pair of needle nose vice grips is the ticket to get the new seats to snap into the little retaining clips. Still not easy but managable.

I put new ones in my 81, but I can't remember the trick. It require few beers and lots of patience. Hang in there!
