The original owner of my '68 did the modification. He built the tilt front out of the original front end by combining hood and front clip and head light covers.. I don't have too many details on how it was done as I didn't do it myself. I can provide more photos if desired..

(That's a very old picture.. probably 5 years ago)

If you want a chrome front bumper, there are several companies that make a Mako Shark tilt nose (called Maco to appeise the GM licensing ****'s). Check out http://www.makoshark2.com/ Good hunting-Keith

I also inquired about this a while back but never found what I wanted.

I want to retain my flip-up headlights.

Good luck

That was an old pic when the car was still a show car.. It's a race car right now and it doesn't look that shiney etc. anymore...
I'll post more pics when I'll get a chance.. I've been busy lately..

FWIW: If you make the swap, watch the nose. I've heard accounts where some of the kits allow the nose to open too far and it whacks the ground.

If you can't find what you want ,it can be done with your current front.
They are heavy but solid. The hinge system can be a bit tricky.Sometimes the hinges are not mounted far enough forward.(making too much overhang, and can contact the ground.)It's not a hard mod but will take some planning.I found that the hardest part is removing the front clip.

I do not currently have a front end. I was in an accident and it is more or less in splinters so i figured it was a good time for this mod

That blue car from sweden is just about the most perfect C-3 I have ever seen except for the tailpipes and lugage rack.
A twin turbo chrome bumper convertible with a flip front and removable hood...even looks like he still has the flip-up headlights!!! I WANT THAT!!!! absolutely beautiful. We have to find him!!! and some swedish chicks.
