Default Costco Engine Stand

Bought this stand from Costco online. $329 shipped, but it's kind of a POS,however what did I expect for $329 shipped.

As you see the frame is held together by the 2 long rods at the bottom and 1 bolt through the wheels, on each end.

Tach, water temp, oil pressure, vacuum gauges, & a key starter switch.

I'll be spending some time on the welder making this a little more sturdy. It's OK for a one off engine, but if you are going to build a few then I would spend a little more for a better stand. The kit comes with a coupling for water hose cooling, but I'm going to add a frame for a radiator.

I'm sure you could, it looks sturdier. I kind of wish I had built one, but this was expedient. Costco would take it back, but I'll just reinforce it & use it.

Costco says they'll take it back at any store, they probably would. I'll use this, but thought I'd warn anyone else not to expect much if they order one.
