They're not the fastest though. This company could be the king with some staff and some vision. They seem to have one lady taking orders and I'm always asked twice for part numbers. Then it's a least a week before the parts arrive. They could learn a thing or two from Jeg's.

Thats the difference between greedy and content, yep she checks twice to make sure what you say is really what you want. If the Doc is selling it the quality will be top notch fer sure. Peace,,,Moosie
Usually great product.
My understanding:
Diane was the woman who took over running the
business when the Doc "retired". She has been
great on the phone ... even going into the stockroom
to check part quality for me in person.
Back in the day, you wouldn't dare say the dreaded Doc Rebuild name on this forum. It was just taboo and would get you banned fast. I guess it changed since he retired. He's a good guy and I'm sure he sells a great parts. He was very passionate about the hobby.

Dr Rebuild is usually pretty good about labelling his parts as NOS, OEM, or repro. For sure, the lady who takes your order can find out if the catalog is not clear. She has a sophisticated knowledge of Corvette parts. Also, she went to a lot of trouble to check out if a 68 part they were selling was early 68 or late 68.
If I were going to buy new bumpers, I'd try to get NOS or OEM, just to make sure. From what I can tell, I believe the factory plating is consistently better than the rechrome shops. I've had some rechromed parts degrade very quickly (3 or 4 years). My 68 NOS front bumper, bought in 1973, (the originals died in a front/rear ender) is still in very good condition. A pair of rechromed rear bumpers on my 1970, turned to rust after about 10 years. Once again, my 68 rear bumpers purchased in 1973, are still in really good condition.
