Z-bar Bracket location
I am converting my auto tranny to a manual and need to install a z-bar bracket. Does anyone have any information on where exactly on the frame to put the bracket? Maybe a picture or measurements?

Attach the stud to the block then put in the Z-bar at a 90 degree angle to the block. Thats where the bracket goes. I think you can get a bolt in bracket too...some of the later C3's used it.

Just did mine by attaching it to the cross shaft, placing the cross shaft into the ball stud on the engine, attached the clutch rod from the pedal and then squared the shaft (90 degrees) to the engine block, where it sat on the chassis rail, is where I attached it (I bolted mine in)
Took 5 minutes.
