It's probably true because they look at it like this. Most of the women feel that we are trying to show off and are not humble about what we have. American women are very insecure of these things and feel threatened by the men. They look at it as if the men are pushing them toward a submissive role of relations by having this car. In Brazil, you would be swarmed by females if you had a corvette or any expensive car but that is because they are not all fckd up in the head like the women here. Yellow73sb probably needs all the protection he can get from all the girls who go crazy for him!! I think I understand of what he wrote!!
Now if you had a Ferrari, they might be willing to look past the insecurities for the big payoff, but a corvette??? Not quite expensive enough.

I don't know about the C6 but back when I bought mine Corvettes had one of the highest percentages of all new cars that were sold to men. Over 90% if I remember right. So it might be the car more than the guy........

First of all, they're probably thinking of new cars. What percentage of C5 and C6 owners are complete a-holes? Probably enough to turn most women off, and develop a stereo-type.

thats because most girls know guys would spend qualiy time working on their car then hanging out with them in malls , cars dont get headaches or t.o.m. attuite[time of month] but some chicks still thrill with the vettes my wife does and most female customers of my shop always ask if they can get the ride home in the white vette [61] young or old married or single

Its because most women like Corvettes and they know it. Therefore they dont like Corvette guys because they know other women will be all over you.
Competition amongst the ladies....thats all.

The real issues are who took the poll, where was it taken, who were the women polled, what was the size of the sample group, etc. One thing I learned in my studies of statistics is that figures never lie, but liars can figure. Given the right control group, I can prove the earth is flat, the moon walk was faked, Muslims are pacifists or any other illogical theory someone might have. My experience at car shows is that women admire Vettes as much as guys. My wife likes ours and that's enough for me.
