The Z-car headlights were popular on the Baldwin-Motion cars. Most of them had plexiglass covers. Pricey because Joel Rosen has certified this car as a genuine Motion car. He ought to know -- he built them.
Looks like a POS to me, what is so special about Baldwin-Motion vettes? Must be somewhat valuable if someone is bidding 75k for that.
Baldwin/Motion Performance and Yenko cars are some of the HOTTEST, FASTEST cars to come out of a dealership. They were modded by the dealer to costomer's specs. If you had a stock Vette and one of these brutes pulled up next to you, better just smile and wave and tell the guy "nice car". He could squash you like a bug
"In 1968, the Phase III Camaro was guaranteed to turn 11.50 1/4 miles times at over 120 mph with a M/P (Modified Production) licensed driver on an NHRA or AHRA sanctioned track. This car was "reliable & streetable" and was able to run these times shortly after being driven off the showroom floor. The warranty on the SS-427 Camaro was 90 days or 4000 miles on the powertrain and 24 months/24000 miles on the rest of the car - excluding all speed options. There was no warranty on any engine that was fitted with "internal engine modifications", such as a camshaft and high rev-kit."
Note it says GUARANTEED to turn 11.50 1/4 mile times!!!!

Dep
It's all relative, Dep. Those old mods are not the equals of the new. Those headlights are of the dreadfulness if I have to say. I see the pics and I think it is like the 13 year old girl who was supposed to be such a beautiful when she grew up but in the time she grew up, she was beaten down, passed around the place and ended up as the hag. In other words, she isn't worth anything anymore. This car should be donated to the poor people and not sold as if it is the good one with the big engine. Once a hag, does it matter what she was in the youth?

Well if it was ALL ORIGINAL the price would be astronomical. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think the C6 Vette is one fugly pig

Relative it is. The old mods are what make them so desirable. And these were invoiced through the dealership (if you can prove it with paperwork/documentation etc) making them technically original. Its really no different than what Callaway does with the newer Vettes. The other thread on this car has some good info in it.
