A couple of weeks ago i finished installing Wilwood caliper kits from Corvette Engineering. I got them installed, bled and ready to go. Then I decided to go with the 2 piece rotors and hats also so I removed the rotors from the car and am waiting for the new hats.
I decided to finish a couple of wiring items under my dash tonight and while attempting to crawl under there to see what I was doing I pushed the brake pedal down and noticed no brakes. I pumped them a couple of times and was surprised that I had not gotton all of the air bled out. When I got out of the car I saw brake fluid everywhere. You guessed it. I stuck my head straight up my rear and pumped the brakes without them on the rotor so I blew out a piston.
I guess I am the only dumb*ss here thats ever done that.
Yeah, I have it back together. I just made a huge mess and have to bleed the brakes all over again because I wasn't thinking and since I am on that subject I guess I shouldn't have posted this in tech.
