new to the corvette world..

I'm not very knowledgable in the Corvette world. Hoping someone could help- my husband bought a 72 stingray and judging by the serial number it's the base model (the fifth letter is K not L so it's not an LT1). However I'm confused by the spec plate in the car itself- it reads 350 ci (which I understand) and then the next number says 360 for torque. What does that mean the horse power is? I know that base is 200hp but could it be more than this?

i would think that someone replaced the spec plate.
numbers for a 72 should be.
Base L-48 200 hp, 300 tq
LT-1 255 hp, 280 tq
LS5 270 hp, 390 tq.
these are from the dobbins fact book 68-72 vettes
